BRACELETS

In a previous post, I’ve already mentioned I made a lot of bracelets lately.  So, here they are!  I recycled beads of a few of my mother’s old necklaces and bought a few pretty beads at Zahia in Hasselt and combined them with waxed rope and closures from veritas.  I did cheat a bit and glued the beads to the rope to make sure they stay in place.  One tip: make sure your rope is not too thick for the beads (oops) and choose beads that aren’t too heavy (oops again).  By the way, this tutorial was my inspiration for these last bracelets, although they look entirely different.  I did use the adjustable closure of that tutorial for the yellow and black one, but I prefer regular closures.  Which one is your favorite?  I love the gold one, matches my black and gold obsession!
