PROJECT BLOGWAY: preppy

blouse: Zara – pants: New Look – shoes: vintage – jewelry: H&M, Accesorize
These must be the quickest outfit shots I’ve ever taken: I literally had 20 minutes to thing of an outfit, run outside and shoot the photos, in between coming home from my job, packing my stuff and leaving to catch the train to the sea. Not my best photos for sure but I do like the outfit a lot! You can like my outfit here, to keep me in the running for the project blogway challenge!
PROJECT BLOGWAY: favourite movie
This week’s challenge was to create an outfit around your favourite movie or serie, so head over to the project blogway blog to read about how I got inspired by Le fabuleux destin d’Amélie Poulain and like my photo here to keep me in the running! I must say I’m a little bit disappointed with the photos though, they were taken in a rush before my sister had to go to school, and apparently a black and white combination doesn’t photograph well in harsh sunlight. Lesson learned!
By the way, this lovely red chair is the reason why I didn’t have any money to spend on the handmade in belgium market. The Paplou stock sale happened to be on the same day, and when I checked their facebook page before we left for the market, I noticed this gorgeous deep red chair and I knew we had to go to the stock sale first! Luckily we were one of the first there and I got to take this much-wanted chair with me. They’re planning on doing a second stock sale, so I would keep an eye on their facebook page as there was so much gorgeous vintage furniture for sale! Here’s an extra photo to give my new baby all the attention it diserves:
CHALLENGE #10: girls night out
“Girls night out” was the theme of the 10th project blogway challenge. My options for this challenge were quite limited as I’m in Leuven to study (well, not anymore! I’m finished, yay!), so I left my party dresses at home. Luckily I had this dress with me, it’s one of my favourites (bought in Copenhagen) although it doesn’t get much wear. Good thing this dress gets it’s chance to shine now!
dress: Topshop – shoes: Sacha – sequin headband: H&M
edit: The photos are online now here, if you’d like to keep me in the running, like my photo pretty please!
PROJECT BLOGWAY: fairy tale
The 9th Project Blogway challenge has a fairy tale theme, so I gathered inspiration from Little Red Riding Hood. If you could vote for me here by liking my picture, that would be great!
coat: we fashion (borrowed from a friend) – dress, flats, ring: H&M – belt: vintage – bracelet: Massimo Dutti
On another note: have you heared the news about Pukkelpop, one of our biggest festivals in Belgium? An unexpected storm striked the festival, stages and tents have collapsed, trees fell down and so far even five people died. I can’t put in words how shocked I am. Many of my friends were there, after not being able to reach anyone for about an hour we finally got a text that everybody’s ok, I’ve never been so relieved. It’s not my habbit to write something here on my blog about tragedies in the news, but this is so close and I’ve been thinking about the events non-stop since it happened. I want to wish all the families and friends of the victims all the strength they can get.
PROJECT BLOGWAY: seventies
Another Project Blogway Challenge, this time with a seventies theme, so I got my inspiration from the ever so stylish Jane Birkin.
