BREEZEBLOCKS
coat: pimkie – shoes: stradivarius – jumper, skirt, scarf: h&m – handbag: pull & bear – sunglasses: ray ban (c/o smartbuyglasses) – ring: market
Those of you that follow me on facebook, already know that I spent the past weekend in Porto. I really enjoyed discovering this beautiful city in the joyful company of a friend from Belgium, who was visiting for the weekend. She didn’t come to Portugal empty handed: she brought some of my winter clothes (which were very much needed in Porto: during the day we enjoyed 20 degree weather, but as soon as it turned dark we were freezing) and was happy to help photograph my outfit! A welcome change to the photos in front of my window, don’t you think?
Anyway, I’m very busy at the moment, juggling school (so much work!) with fun things (a little peek into last week: the black keys, anne teresa de keersmaeker, coimbra and porto – and a sneak peek of this week: mexefest with alt-j and django django), so that’s why the blog is a little bit quiet at the moment. It might stay that way for a while, but I have tons of photos that I still have to show you, I just need to find some time to edit and upload them to the blog, so stay tuned!

CLAP YOUR HANDS NOW
jumper, sunglasses: h&m – pants: zara – ankle boots: stradivarius – necklace: made by my mother – tote: better bauhaus
This seems to become my uniform: skinnies, a big jumper which doubles as a jacket, my beloved new boots and my trusty tote bag, which is unfortunately no longer available in the original version (there’s already a few small holes in my bag due to daily use and I fear the day it will completely tear) but better bauhaus is now known as new tendency and has new bags. Enough blabbering: here’s a fun song for you and I hope you enjoy your weekend!

HOLOCENE
SOMETHING FOR THE WEEKEND
shirt, tanktop: h&m – shorts: diy mango – ring: pull&bear – triangle earrings: gift (vintage) – chained earcuff: diy h&m – sunglasses: ray ban clubmasters c/o smartbuy glasses – espadrilles: carrefour
So, it seems like we’re still stuck with my balcony! I doubted posting the photos because the full outfit photos turned out so blurry, but I like this outfit so much and I still had to show you my diy earcuff, so I decided to post them anyway! I got the earcuff at h&m but it came with a pearl earring, which I didn’t really like. There were two in the package, so I cut off the chain of one of them, and use it as a regular earcuff, and from the other one I cut off the pearl earring so I could attach the chain to other earrings I have. Et voila!

PUTTY BOY STRUT
skirt: zara – faux suede top, sandals, bracelet: h&m – necklace: made by my mother – earrings: topshop – ring: pull & bear
This outfit is what I wore when I went to the last outjazz (a weekly, free jazz festival in Lisbon during summer) and the after party. The music was amazing and so was the atmosphere, needless to say I had a wonderful time! On the skirt: this is another purchase I made in Lisbon and again a favorite. Maxi skirts are currently one of my favorite things to wear (living proof is the amount of times my first maxi skirt made an appearance on the blog) and luckily the portuguese weather still allows me to combine it with sandals and cropped tops. I need to thank my friends too for giving me a camera remote for my birthday, which makes outfit posts so much easier to do on my own. I’m getting a bit sick of taking photos in front of my windows though, so I might have to venture out and find some cool locations to shoot in Lisbon. That shouldn’t be to hard as my best friend is visiting at the moment, which means we’re going to make a lot of trips, so you can expect many photos in a week! Oh and I love this new song by Flying Lotus and the video clip is pretty amazing too!
