6. The photorito lens wrap by photojojo. I actually have something similar, but mine is boring grey (okay and fluorescent orange on the inside) and looks far from edible, boo. Or maybe that’s a good thing?

7. I remember being so in love with these cat-head lipsticks by Paul & Joe a few years ago, and apparently there’s a new collection, called ‘Meow’, celebrating the 10 year anniversary of Paul & Joe beauté, and it looks so good! I want. (source)

8. This impressive piece of street art was made on a mossy wall outside of the STUK art center in Leuven, which is one of my favorite spots in the city. I am so bummed I never saw this! It was on the other exit route that I never take because I live on the other side of Leuven. Sad, very sad. Anyway, it’s a work by Belgian artist and illustrator Stefaan De Croock aka Strook, who washed away the moss with pressurized water. Too cool. (source)

9. Raindrop magnets by snugstudio. It shouldn’t be too hard to DIY with the university’s laser cutter, I should give this a try soon. Could be a great gift, no? (source)

I GOT A LOVE THAT KEEPS ME WAITING

My past few days/weeks were filled with studying so other than that I have nothing interesting to share. I did use one of my h&m bracelets as a hair accessory and I’m giving you some photos of the view from my window as a bonus. Oh and when you’re reading this, I’m making my last exam, yay!

(Anyone else sad for missing the (apparently amazing) black keys concert due to stupid stupid exams?)

TIM WALKER

Usually I only post photos of young photographers, who aren’t that famous (yet). But today I’m making an exception for Tim Walker. His work is very different from what I usually share here (the scenery, the models, the clothes,…) but his dreamy photographs belong without a doubt to my favorites. I’m sure you al know his most famous work (like this one, this one, or these colorful cats), but I focused more on his recent creations and the archived photos that I didn’t know yet (and hopefully you don’t either). Here are my favorites! (Be prepared, because I have quite a few favorites…)

COVER IT UP

Amazing cover of Lykke Li’s I follow rivers, by one of Belgium’s finest bands Triggerfinger, using cups and a knife as percussion. (I’ve noticed the videos are being deleted by youtube, so if this video doesn’t work, check it out here.
They’re very known for their impressive covers, using every day objects as instruments, listen to their Sweet Dreams cover using a toilet brush here.

5 people covering Somebody that I used to know by Gotye, using only one guitar.
Pretty impressive!

A cappella cover of Robyn’s Call your girlfriend, using empty cottage cheese containers.

The XX is one of my favorite bands and so is Gorillaz. The cover Gorillaz made of The XX’s crystalized totally lived up to my expectations!

This one doesn’t really fit in this list, as it’s neither live or with every day objects as an instrument and I don’t know the original song nor beatrice martin, but I just love the song.
