CAMERA OBSCURA

I don’t think I’ve mentioned it yet, but I started studying photography at SLAC this school year. Most of my work you’ve seen already, except for the photos I made for the camera obscura assignment. The assignment was simple: drill a hole in the middle of the camera cap, cover it up with tin foil and make a hole in the middle of the tinfoil with a needle. Replace the lens of your camera with this cap, and start snapping away! These are the photos that didn’t make the cut, as the combination of the subject and the pinhole camera made for very hazy images. I do find them quite poetic, so I figured I’d share them anyway. Next week I’ll show you the photos that I did hand in!

Waw zalig :) Ik heb al veel dingen geprobeerd, maar camera obscura nog niet. Lay out is ook beter nu hij breder is :) Zeker als je goede foto’s hebt ;)
Ik wou dat er ook zo’n goeie cursussen hier in de buurt zijn, wij hebben avondonderwijs, maar das voornamelijk studiowerk. Godthank dat ik later als sociaal cultureel werker daar iets aan kan doen xx

Oh ik heb dat op de kunsthumaniora ook nog gedaan! Daar waren echt toffe resultaten bij! En het proces naar die éne foto vond ik ook heel tof. Dan merk je ook dat analogie fotografie toch geen lachertje is hé :) En ook wel zot dat je zo’n resultaat kan verkrijgen door een schoendoos met een gat in :p

Hoi Hannelore, volg jij deze opleiding naast je studie? Welke graad volg je? Bevalt het? Veel vragen..Ik woon zelf in Leuven, werk sinds kort voltijd en ik ben op zoek naar goede fotografie cursus. Fijn weekend!
