FOUR YEARS

You might have noticed it has been a little bit quiet here these past few weeks.  That’s because I’m terribly busy with my thesis, so I’m afraid  it’s going to stay quiet here for a while. I will still update, after all I have that Lisbon city guide to finish (almost done!), I still need to show you all the analog photos I took in my last weeks in Portugal (teaser: there was a road trip involved) and the annual existenz week took place a two weeks ago.  So no worries, I still love this blog as much as I did on day one (even more!).  Speaking of day one: that’s exactly four years ago today!  This year there are unfortunately no balloons present, but I invite you to take a look at my archives, which are overflowing with inspiration I’ve collected and beautiful memories I’ve made. (That’s over 800 posts, people!)  I know I don’t have a list with categories for you in my lay-out (bad blogger, but I just make the distinction between personal and inspirational on the right side), so I thought maybe I’d give you a little overview to make it easier for you!

Now that this is cleared up, I was wondering what you, as my readers, like the most about my blog.  Usually I’m not a fan of these kind of surveys, I think everyone should just blog about whatever makes them happy, regardless of who likes it and who doesn’t, but I’ve been thinking about where to go with this blog for a while, I don’t think it would be bad to maybe get some more focus instead of my posts being so all over the place.  So maybe this is the perfect moment to ask for your help?  If you have some spare time, take a moment to share in the comment section why you visit this blog.  Is it the weekly things that make me smile posts?  My own photos?  My travel stories? The pretty things posts?  Tell me!  And while you’re at it, why don’t you tell me a little bit about yourself too?  I’d love to get to know you a little better!  Where are you from, how old are you, what do you do in your daily life, or more importantly what are your dreams, what made you smile today and what’s your favorite dish? (I’m just taking advantage of the situation here, since I’m in need for some vegi inspiration!)  Thanks for reading this and taking time to leave comment, it’s very much appreciated.  And stick around for another year!
