WEEKEND
photo by Ann Vincent // maxidress: forever21 – hair accessory: h&m – purse: vintage – necklace: made by my mother
Here’s an impression of how I spent last weekend, although this gorgeous room in DEstudio was quickly filled with a lot more people, dancing around and having a good time in their most beautiful evening wear. This was the first time I attended one of the Leave Us At Dawn parties, but definitely not the last. Have a great weekend!

Thanks to your enthusiastic reactions on my last outfit post and my sister’s help as a photographer (check her tumblr here!), here’s another one. (Maybe this will become a regular thing again after all…)
If you’re still looking for something to do in the next two weeks: as of tomorrow, some of my photos are on display in the entrance hall of Museum M (I blogged about this museum in Leuven before here). Next week the M-idzomer festival takes place in the garden of M, which is the perfect opportunity to visit. I’ll be there on friday to enjoy Portico Quartet (second time this year!) and Mulatu Astatke. The song below is by that last one and it’s called Yegelle Tezeta. Enjoy!

THERE’S A SHAKE DOWN IN MY TOWN
pants: mango – jacket: primark – shirt: zara – bag: pull&bear – necklace: gift (paper & chain) – nailpolish: kiko jade green
It’s been a while since I’ve done an outfit post, and I’m still not sure wether this will be a regular thing or not, but for now I wanted to show you my pretty new pants, which I wore for a business meeting (sounds way more professional than I am haha) and my mother’s birthday diner. Obviously this dates back from before Belgian summer arrived and before I spent my vacation in Lisbon and Paris. Speaking of my vacation, a few days ago I was welcomed back by a barbecue with my best friends, only hours after I arrived in Belgium and since then I’ve spent my days unpacking, settling back in, doing a little shopping, taking photos and mostly enjoying the beautiful weather. Soon I’ll tell you all about my time in Lisbon and Paris, but for now I leave you with this outfit and this amazing song by Lady, while I’m off to discover the new pop-up bar zoMerbar at the rooftop of Museum M. Enjoy your weekend!

BREEZEBLOCKS
coat: pimkie – shoes: stradivarius – jumper, skirt, scarf: h&m – handbag: pull & bear – sunglasses: ray ban (c/o smartbuyglasses) – ring: market
Those of you that follow me on facebook, already know that I spent the past weekend in Porto. I really enjoyed discovering this beautiful city in the joyful company of a friend from Belgium, who was visiting for the weekend. She didn’t come to Portugal empty handed: she brought some of my winter clothes (which were very much needed in Porto: during the day we enjoyed 20 degree weather, but as soon as it turned dark we were freezing) and was happy to help photograph my outfit in front of casa da musica! A welcome change to the photos in front of my window, don’t you think?
Anyway, I’m very busy at the moment, juggling school (so much work!) with fun things (a little peek into last week: the black keys, anne teresa de keersmaeker, coimbra and porto – and a sneak peek of this week: mexefest with alt-j and django django), so that’s why the blog is a little bit quiet at the moment. It might stay that way for a while, but I have tons of photos that I still have to show you, I just need to find some time to edit and upload them to the blog, so stay tuned!

CLAP YOUR HANDS NOW
jumper, sunglasses: h&m – pants: zara – ankle boots: stradivarius – necklace: made by my mother – tote: better bauhaus
This seems to become my uniform: skinnies, a big jumper which doubles as a jacket, my beloved new boots and my trusty tote bag, which is unfortunately no longer available in the original version (there’s already a few small holes in my bag due to daily use and I fear the day it will completely tear) but better bauhaus is now known as new tendency and has new bags. Enough blabbering: here’s a fun song for you and I hope you enjoy your weekend!
